Calligraphic Optical Illusion Murals by Astro

Astro wraps a whole facade in black and white calligraphy, then cuts a teal rectangle into it. The painted edges converge inward, so the flat wall reads as a corridor receding to a bright core.

The letterforms stop being script and become pattern — loops, hooks, arrows crowding every surface. The mural carries a signature top left, a 2016 date top right, and runs down past stairs and railings to the pavement.
