Violaine & Jérémy Studio

Violaine & Jérémy move between drawing and print, and both images here run on two colours. For the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord they set a white poster for the 2015—2016 season: dark type holds the month at the left and a column of productions at the right, over a soft wash of green, teal and blue.

The second is pencil on white: Napoleon in his bicorne, the hat lettered NAPOLEONLAND. A ferris wheel and a roller coaster ride behind the hat, a castle and a plane sit at the left, and two tiny visitors climb a staircase into his open mouth.
