Felice Varini

Felice Varini paints on buildings. Cercle et suite d’éclats is an installation in Vercorin, a village of wooden chalets on a hillside in the Swiss Alps.

A ring of white paint crosses the village. It runs over roofs, balconies, shutters, grass and a paved road, breaking each time the surface turns or changes colour. One segment crosses a dark roof, another a white wall, another the ground.
