Leon Lee – Illustrative Worlds

Leon Lee is a Malaysian-born illustrator and designer based in Los Angeles. The images here are watercolours painted outdoors: a creek running over rocks, tall grasses on the bank, water broken by light and reflection.

A second painting sets a dog on a sunlit concrete platform between metal railings, with a dark hillside behind. Leon Lee paints on site, but the pictures tell a story rather than record a view.
