Alvaro Tapia Hidalgo

Alvaro Tapia Hidalgo was born in Viña del Mar, Chile, and has worked in graphic design since 2000.

The work here is portraiture cut from flat blocks of colour. One figure wears a belted blue coat with a dark fur collar and carries a brown leather bag, a yellow burst behind the head. The other is a man in a black coat with a blue face, yellow-green eyes and a red column down his chest.
