Diego Marmolejo Illustration
Diego Marmolejo works in Barcelona and draws in two colours: a flat coral red and black, on white. The shapes are heavy and rounded, the line is even, and there is no shading anywhere.
A blob creature holds the centre of the frame with wide white eyes and a dash for a mouth. Around it, black doodles pile up: planets, rockets, comets, rainbows, spirals, molecule chains. It reads as maximalism, but the drawing underneath is strict. That tension is the point. Diego Marmolejo posts the rest.
