‘The Espresso Drinker’: A Coffee Personality Chart

The Espresso Drinker is not a data chart so much as a character assassination. Under the heading “A hardworking leader. Always on the go”, a faceless man in a dark suit is drawn with four arms: one holding an espresso, one on the telephone, one scribbling notes and one dropping a crumpled page into the bin.

The captions do the damage — this is his fifth shot of the morning, his phone calls have abandoned all vowels, and his handwriting can only be deciphered by a dedicated PA. Flat mid-century illustration in burnt orange and grey, and a very efficient joke about a certain kind of office.
