Crescendo Magazine Design by Fabian Fohrer

Crescendo is set in two colours and does not need a third: black sans-serif on white, black panels carrying the white text, and one black-and-white photograph allowed onto a page.

The cover lays those panels on a grid and lets them read like a contents list at arm’s length. Inside, a three-line headline in German sits opposite a pull quote in a black block above a portrait. Fabian Fohrer is a graphic designer in Germany.
