Alex Trochut’s Penguin Books Galaxy Series

Alex Trochut‘s covers for the Penguin Books Galaxy Series give the whole jacket to the title. Two sit on dark wood: Robert A. Heinlein’s Stranger in a Strange Land in red, William Gibson’s Neuromancer in green.

The Heinlein title stacks in striped letters that shift from orange to white and fill the cover edge to edge. The Gibson is built from outlined green type, with dashes and stray marks breaking away from the letterforms. The title carries everything.
