Antti Kalevi

Antti Kalevi is a Helsinki-based illustrator. His drawings run on flat geometric shapes, hand-drawn texture and characters that look pleased with themselves.

One drawing shows a figure from behind in a wide blue-speckled hat and a white shirt covered in blue brushstrokes. Next to it, a framed portrait sets a blue-haired smoker among palm trees, the frame painted orange.

A separate illustration centres on a blue-and-white vase painted with houses, a sailboat and fireworks. Two hands hold phones, photographing it.
