Eda Akaltum

Eda Akaltum is an artist from Istanbul who works in London. She is a freelance illustrator, and editorial illustration is her main outlet.

One drawing is blue throughout. Open cubes hold offices, each room floating apart from the others: desks, chairs, a man who raises one hand. The cubes are drawn at different sizes, and some hold figures no taller than a thumb.

The second image is a collage in grey with flat orange panels. Faceless figures in orange suits stand in front of a staircase, a bookshelf and a stack of buildings. She mixes traditional technique with digital assembly. Her work is at Eda Akaltum.
