Okay is the design studio of Carl Bender. The name says less than the work does. Bender has a strong sense of narrative, and his brands are distinct and memorable because he folds the client’s story into the design.
Bender’s Whiskey Co. is the clearest example. The company sits on San Francisco’s Treasure Island, so the illustrative packaging draws on the island’s nautical history and the sailors who have spent time there.
