Salut! Christmas Beer Design by Walabi Studio

Walabi, a Barcelona studio, made a typeface for a Christmas beer. Each letter of ‘Salut’ takes a bottle of its own: five bottles, five glyphs, read left to right.

The letters are gold on brown glass, one character per 75cl bottle, the swing-top caps left in shot. Four more bottles spell 2016 the same way.

Seventy-five glyphs, seventy-five bottles. The typeface only works when the beer does: the bottle is the page.
