Poster Series “It is what it is” by Linus Lohoff

Linus Lohoff is an art director in Cologne, and this series is photography used as illustration. Form, colour, material and light carry it, with the subject removed. The posters are numbered, and the type block never moves.

Nº1 puts a red plane, a soft pink curve and a rectangle of pale blue in a white margin. Nº8 folds peach and pink over a pale faceted form and lets it sit in its own shadow. Nothing is signposted. The removal of context is the work.
