Sans Serif Prints by Daniel Barkle

Daniel Barkle designed a set of typography posters for the sans serifs that shaped how he works. The prompt was a trip to the Bauhaus Archiv in Berlin, and it shows: type treated as structure, not decoration.

Each sheet is black. One letter sits at the centre, built from outlines rather than solid strokes, so at a distance the wireframe reads as mass. The typeface name is set small in a bottom corner, 1982 at the top left, a block of small text opposite. Bebas is printed white, its corner folded up to show the sheet underneath.
