Quote(s) of the week by Jiani Lu

A framed poster stacks its message in capitals: CAN YOU MOVE THAT OVER 2 PIXELS. Each line carries a grey ghost of itself, offset behind the black, and a thin outlined box surrounds the middle of the text.

Halftone dots, crosshair marks and ticked rules fill the white margins. A second print sets A S A P on a diagonal, part solid grey and part outline, crossed by technical lines and small dark caption bars. Both are framed against grey board and graph paper. Jiani Lu, a Canadian designer and photographer, made the series.
