Bienal Comunicación: Marte Estudio Branding

Bienal Comunicación was founded in 2006 in Merida, Yucatan, and works on brand identities. Its Marte Estudio cards are a stack of stocks: silver foil, mint green, gold, kraft, white, shot flat on grey.

MARTE sits on the foil card in spaced pink capitals, the only mark in the pile. Everything else is texture — torn edges, zigzag cuts, a fine grid, stitching, small numerals. The identity argues that stock and print quality do the talking. Bienal Comunicación shows the set.
