SP-GD’s Identity for Catseye Bay
Catseye Bay is a Sydney spatial design studio whose client list runs from Sydney University Museums and the Object Australian Design Centre to the Victorian Eco Innovation Laboratory, UTS and Concordia Gallery. SP-GD built them a system designed to adapt to whatever medium or format it lands on.
The identity was drawn loosely from the action of floating, which suits a practice that works in space rather than on paper. The mark has to hold up across signage, print and screen without any one version looking like the compromise.
